Chris and I have been child free this weekend.
So we’ve made the most of it with a cheeky night away, nice meal, pub and so on. The Bridge last night. That sort of thing.
This morning, we decided to take the TKOE dog for a walk in Cheltenham, grab some lunch to eat as we walked and go and see a film.
Fiasco no. 1 – the dog headbutts my lunch out of my hand – accidentally ? – and it lands in the mud. She eats it. I don’t .
Fiasco no. 2 – the dog runs in a circle up onto a small wall and falls in fast flowing stream. Crowd on bridge laugh.
Fiasco no. 3 – dog cannot get out. High, slippy walled banks. Weir. Only solution is to kneel in mud and haul her out by collar. Chris doesn’t want a dog so won’t participate. Crowd on bridge laugh louder.
I go to film caked in mud. I decide it is generally dark in cinemas, so as long as no one notices on the way in, I won’t be barred.
In better news dog is recognised as the TKOE dog whilst on her walk yesterday. We have a furry mascot 🙂
