Chris and I are in Minehead for Cal’s Xmas Ball and Xmas show. We were in two minds about the show because he only seemed to have two words to say in it and there was an issue with getting here on time.

Still two words is two words when you are autistic like Cal is. So we got here on time for it. To discover he was playing the part of Scrooge in a mixed live and film version of A Christmas Carol. He didn’t have two words at all. He was the MAIN PART. Little Calum. He held the whole thing together, did his lines with a range of emotions and got a special cheer at the end.

afterwards he rushed up to say hello and other students kept congratulating him and telling us how amazing he is.

he just told us what he had for lunch. Our son. An acting sensation in Minehead. 🙂 🙂

Wow! That is just tremendous. So glad I’ve already got his autograph and don’t have to join the throng.
