Breaking Records for Rosie

15 Sep

We’ve been cheering on two people Running for Rosie this morning at the Cheltenham Half Marathon. Amy and Jo, friends of Rosie ran to raise money for Hope Support Services, one of the charities TKOE is supporting this year. Neither of them has run this far before, so they broke their own personal records in an amazing 2:33:29 time.

Here they are sprinting to the finish

And here they are relieved to be finished

While they were doing that, these two were planning more TKOE ideas

Can you work out what Chris and Chief Designer Mike are working on? It’s two very good ideas – we just need to work out how to make them.

And last but not least, the TKOE commission. I can reveal all. It was 60 wedding favours for Peter and Sam for last weekend. How cool is that. Thank you to them for the commission and Artful Owl and Driller Davidson for making them. Here they are, TKOE wooden key rings

People are wonderful πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Thank you so much girls, what a fantastic effort and amazing accomplishment you have both managed. The money you raised for Hope will go straight to supporting young people when a close family member is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Thank you! πŸ™‚

Well done Rosie’s Runners – that’s a great achievement. And the domino favours are a brilliant idea, could be the start of a new sideline for TKOE.
A friend of mine wrote this on her Facebook status today after the funeral of a family member who died too young.
‘She shone bright enough to leave a lovely glow which we will all enjoy and bask in.’
Another way to remember Rosie too. x

Well done Amy and Jo, great achievement. Love the dominos. Wonder what’s in the planning now???? Chris looked very thoughtful if a bit bamboozled!!!! I’m sure it will be another great idea though.
