A Herd of Swans brings Calum home

23 Mar

Helloooooo. So so sorry it’s been a while. I’ve been epically busy at work and so have just been sleeping and eating and working and seeing Chris and Sylv in the gaps.

Just one week though and then off to Edinburgh to see family and friends and pandas. Sylv has banned us from anything involving underground, ghosts, art or churches. She is still scarred from her Dublin experience. Which is a shame really as we’ve got some fine things planned. Just don’t tell her. Please.

Anyway, our big news is that Cal is home for Easter. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Very very pleased to see him, and he is very pleased to see us. He has spent some time showing us how he was sick in the middle of his tea last week. And we have to take a photo of him every day to prove to him that he has put on clean clothes. I’m not quite sure what the issue was at Foxes, but I imagine it involved him wearing the same clothes for some time.

He’s also grown again, so all his trousers are becoming ridiculously short. On the way to get him, we passed two fields full of swans sitting on the ground. Like a herd of small cows. If it had been just me, I’d have assumed overwork meant hallucinations. But Chris saw them too. Why do you have herds of cows but flocks of sheep, or swans?

Doing some TKOE stuff next week, so will be a bit more active on the blog. And the TKOE commission is making progress. Can’t wait to show you, when we are allowed to…..:):)

Anyone given blood lately by the way?

Jo xx

Reading the title of this post, for a moment there I was very jealous of Calum’s new way of getting home. Can’t wait to see him and you all in a few weeks. Have a fab time in Edinburgh.
