Branching out

7 Oct

I’m glad you are all still out there. I know you are reading, but when it goes quiet, I wonder what’s going on. What you are all doing. Where you’ve been. And I’m sorry about those of you who are feeling ill. There’s a lot of it about at the moment, that’s for sure.

If I’d thought about it though, I’d have realised that quite a few of you have been off crafting TKOE ideas. Because, to bring a smile to everyone on a Sunday evening, here’s some new directions for TKOE fundraising:

1. A song is being recorded and released. How cool is that!! We’ve met up with a couple of the band tonight, who are being incredibly generous with their time and their talent. As are the rest of the band and associated sound engineers and all the paraphernalia which I now know goes with recording and releasing a proper track. It’s all being organised in time for Christmas. This is just a teaser for now – more info to follow. 🙂 🙂

2. We have been donated a beautiful diamond and opal ring. Donated – we’ve not stolen it or anything. Donated,  for TKOE to raise money from. So we are thinking through the best way to do that. Ideas?

3. And we’ve had a commission. A commission!!! I can’t tell you what because it is a surprise for the people involved, but it involves something for a special event next year, to raise the profile of TKOE, and raise some money.

And it’s the TKOE zumbathon on 11th Nov don’t forget.

Now, if that doesn’t deal with that Sunday evening feeling, I don’t know what will. Have a happy Monday.

Jo xx

    Hi Jo,

We are still here always just guess we all get caught up in our own worlds sometimes, I for one have been trying to find out what I can now eat having been told I have coeliac disease, and chasing up Dr’s having not been told back in March when it was found so have been doing everything wrong since then, but guess I will learn how what to eat and what not to, hope you and the family are well

With all the gloom and doom and bad news around, it’s so good to hear about the really wonderful things that people are doing. Rosie and TKOE certainly seem to bring out the best in people in so many ways. Exciting stuff, looking forward to hearing more…x
