I don’t understand why there haven’t been any rainbows. Have you seen any rainbows?
We’ve been in glorious West Yorkshire for the weekend, where there was scorching sunshine mixed with torrential rain. But no rainbows. We did have plenty of beer, fish, chips, mushy peas, laughing and walking though.
And if the technology works, Cal will be on the web as part of an art installation making a video reading of a book. His bit was a line from Sherlock Holmes. Look it up on the National Media Museum, Bradford site. He does look a bit like the villain though, because he was too tall for the camera and he’s glowering as he concentrates on some quite tricky words. So maybe it won’t be included . . . .
I suppose we’ll have to make our own rainbows. So here’s a few 😀
The Snowdon trip tomorrow has now raised over £750, so a BIG TKOE thank you to Lucy, Jane and co for doing that. Hope it’s not too wet. Can we have a picture please?? 😀 😀
Keri is coming over to see us with Designer Mike at the weekend, to let us know how much the Paris bicycle trip raised. 😀 😀 😀
Someone else has just been in contact about raising money through the Three Peaks challenge. 😀 😀 😀 😀
And we’ve almost sold out of Random Rhinos, despite them not even being for sale on the web yet!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
And there’s some TKOE Team Kilburn piglets on the way, to add to the kittens, puppies and African land snails.
A if anyone wonders about the cryptic comment about pet names in the previous post, following an unfortunate incident with a cat we called Malcolm, who turned out to be a girl, and a hen called Debbie who turned out to be a cockerel, any animal of ours tends to be named with no regard for its gender. And boys names work better for cats than girls names. Although the kittens are boys. With boys names.
It is quite possible that the sweet little kitteny noises which are acting as the backing track as I write this post, could equally be the loathsome little kitteny noises of one pooing in my shoe, I’ve just realised. I shall go and find out.
