Rosie’s shoes

19 Apr

Of all the things that continue to be very hard, Rosie’s shoes are for me one of the most difficult. Why?

We’re stepping into her shoes tomorrow, because we’ve got a very special trip to the Harry Potter Film Studios. That was where she had the best day of her life. So we’re going to have a good look round as well. We won’t have the star treatment she and Toby had, but we’re looking forward to it, never the less. Although I just know that I shall feel ever so slightly disappointed that some of it is an illusion . . . Really. It is.

This is a quiet post today – just feel that way out really. Sorry.

We do have good news on the bloodometer though – it’s at 21.  Which means we are at 70% of our total Thank you 🙂

They are very special shoes in every way. That;s why it’s so hard. And we quite understand you feeling quiet – who wouldn’t have those sort of days in your shoes.

But tomorrow should be a good day because you’ll be able to see first hand what made Rosie so happy.Hope that will balance out any disappointments / disillusion …
And the bloodometer news is brilliant. Love to you all. x

We went to the Harry Potter studios last week and loved it – just amazing detail and so real.
My Dad died when I was still at junior school, one of the hardest things for me was his coffee mug – it just really upset me seeing these everyday objects that had been his. So, whether you are speaking metaphorically or not about Rosie’s shoes, I can see why you find them so difficult. x x
