25 Jan

Get home. Eat tea. Remark on Chris’s stunning saxophone seranade whilst eating (he’s now able to do extracts from the New World Symphony). Notice large parcel.

Parcel contains a world of bags, aprons, jumpers, pin cushions  . . . beautifully handmade in France and ready for TKOE to sell. Thank you so much Mags. They are wonderful. Will put some pictures up here.

The timing couldn’t have been better. Monday was a bit of a down day all round, so this was really cheery and means we can have a TKOE craft stall in the spring. 🙂

Mags bags are ace. I used mine last year to lug stuff up to scotland and it was amazingly strong. Used it lots but it’s now my book, laptop and important stuff for holidays bag. It’s good.

Parcels are always a good thing to get at the end of the day, especially the musical accompaniment. I got one yesterday, that I sent myself, from Amazon, it contained Tapioca Flour. I still enjoyed getting that and it certainly wasn’t full of lovely things by Mags.

I love getting parcels even when I know what’s in them (one of the bonuses of internet shopping). Looks as though we now need Mags’ Makes (incorporating Mags’ Bags) as well as Rocks for Rosie (keep those orders coming folks – www, – and you’ll be getting parcels too).
Your musical progress sounds brilliant, Chris. Hope the cheery mood continues for the rest of the week. x

A Mag’s Bag could be just what I need for all my spinning and knitting accessories!

My Mum has offered to do some knitting if required.

Always exciting to get a parcel! On the subject of a craft stall, if I manage to pull my finger out, might you be interested in some bunting? When in the spring were you anticipating your stall?

Oh yes. TKOE bunting always a hit. It’ll be in the spring. Just researching where and when.
