The cheek of it!

18 Nov

So I turn my back for a minute and the blog is hacked and you all then heap praise on the hacker. What kind of example is that to set? Eh? Eh? It is good though, isn’t it. :))

And have any of you noticed the other hacking incident?

No blog til Sunday, so see if you can find it. There’s a special prize for the first person to correctly identify it and post a comment.

And so you can join in the warm feeling tonight, here’s a thank you from Forget Me Not Trust Hospice for a TKOE donation, in case you hadn’t noticed it on an earlier post. I’ll let you know what else has happened with them, on Sunday 🙂

Hi Jo, this is Peter Branson, I’m the Chief Executive of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice (Forget Me Not Trust as we were called until recently). Just got the donation this morning, and I can’t begin to tell you how grateful and how honoured we feel to have been chosen by Rosie to receive this. I promise we will make the very best use of it to help the children and families who need us. Thank you so much, and thanks so much to Rosie. x

Have a good weekend.

Jo

I’m the least observant person on the planet. Is it the calendar?

Ah, but Sylvie is a Davidson / Kilburn, full of all the spirit and resourcefulness we all associate with that brand! So what else can we do but applaud her efforts – she can be your worthy deputy and fill in when needed.
Another challenge for us (once a teacher, always a teacher I guess) – will get onto it Miss.
Lovely feedback from Forget Me Not., another endorsement of Rosie’s continuing impact through TKOE.
Hope you’re all okay and that you have a good weekend too. x

      PS
Was the other hacking to do with the JustGiving page? I noticed on Sunday or Monday that it was showing over £3600 but then the figure went down….
      WIll keep looking though.

Is it the fact that when you go to the “About” section in the shop, there is new stuff? Or has that been there forever, and I’ve just not noticed?

Was it the 14th of November post? Because it didn’t have the usual sign out of ‘Jo’ right at the very end?
