Hi Rosie, This makes me want to wave and say hi back. So, er, hi! Sorry about your broken night and the tummy pain – broken night without the pain, or the pain but with some sleep mixed in, would be bad enough, but both at once is just plain unfair… x

    Hi darling

Really good to see and hear you! You look SO beautiful even if you do get out of breath. One day at a time – stay strong. You WILL make your pub lunch.

Big hugs and love from me to you – Georgina xxxxx

What a brilliant idea to video blog 🙂 its almost like getting to meet you in person at last 🙂 Remember, its all about the spoons… more spoons tomorrow 🙂 I think we all need an intro and wave to Mum as well or is she camera shy? or likely to do something soooooo embarrassing?(as us Mums are inclined to do!), love and hugs xx

This is amazing Rosie, I feel as though I’m in your bedroom at the end of your bed and you’re talking to me. Sorry to hear about the rotten night you had on Tuesday – you are certainly looking rested and lovely today. I think that trip to the pub is getting closer!

Just like being with you in your room! Hope it won’t be too long before we see you ‘in the flesh’,as they say, but in the meantime ….. yep, lovely to see you AND hear you! Conserve your strength and build on it …
May you be blessed with more and more nights of deep and restful sleep …. and pain free! Well done Jo for the ‘soothing hands’ work …. touch can have an amazing effect 🙂
Roll on the day for your pub lunch trip!

      Love from us all,
      Deb and gang xxxxx 😀

Good girl for having a go at that, further evidence that you do actually look heaps better than when we last saw you a few days ago even if you are a bit ‘huffy’:)
Keep meaning to say to you, do you have any steroids in your drug mix? I only ask because our old friend Tony who has advanced prostate cancer was having really hideous problems sleeping which was making him feel much much worse and then he read that taking steroids at night as the dr had prescribed causes insomnia in some people. As a result he has switched to taking them in the morning and has slept much better and is feeling much brighter as a result. Just a thought in case you are on them, wasn’t too sure x

    Hi Rosie,
I’ve been reading your blog for well over a year since I heard about you through the lovely Natalie (who I knew when she lived in Kettering). It’s wonderful being able to read and see photos but it’s even better being able to actually see you talking like a real person! It has just made you all the more marvellous and I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for allowing us all to become a part of your life even though the majority of us are just nameless pixels, it’s a privilege. And thank you for being such an enormous inspiration too, your resilience and (I hate this phrase because it makes you sound like a fruit but it definitely suits you…) zest for life is just brilliant.
I’m sorry you have such an awful night, I hope last night was better. I also hope your tummy is behaving itself now and stays that way. I hope we get more vlogs soon, but only when your breathing is better. Save it for more important things like pubs and cake.
    Take care. xxx

Sorry for this late reply Rosie, but I loved the video log and I think it took great courage and strength for you to make it as well as post it to your blog. Well done Rosie, it was lovely to hear your voice and listen to you. Love your eyes and expressions too. Sorry to hear the breathing takes a lot out of you whilst you are speaking, but you got your message across and we all now know what your sound like Rosie and know you in voice and text too. Great presentation moving the laptop to you so we all could hear your voice better, may be you need a wireless mic to fit near your oxygen tube and ear so you can go hands free from holding the laptop too?

Hope your breathing gets better as you progress. Yep, we can have and do get terrible setbacks from time to time, I had the same when three separate blood clots broke away and went from my legs to my heart and lungs in separate orthopedic operations, but the measure of a person is how we ourselves fight our condition. I think you would make an excellent soldier and business woman, you show so much determination and strength. I think I know many who would have loved to work with you Rosie.

Keep making the video blogs Rosie, try make a few just for your family if you can manage that too? Best way is keep them short and simple as a picture is worth a thousand words and your video was incredible, you deserve an award just for the effort, it also helps others fighting cancer know how you can live and have a meaningful life even with a terrible diagnosis.

Lots of big hugs and kisses, xxx
