Neck.. :S

27 Feb

I can feel my neck getting stiff..oh deary me.. I think I need some cognitive behavioural therapy to stop tensing up as soon as I get worried it’s going to hurt. Pain specialist is coming on Friday so I’m guessing he will help!

Am looking for holidays that Toby and I can go on..I have strict criteria which is completely out of our budget..I need a big lottery win really. I want to fly with Emirates and go somewhere like Australia but I don’t have a spare grand just for flights.

I think I’m gonna eat some toast.

Also, I’m not entirely happy with myself because I have spent the last two weeks being fed up and that’s not what I aim for is it? But I suppose internal bleeding could have happened to anyone so it’s okay to be down about that? I don’t know. I’m not really sure what my thoughts are on being fed up right now haha.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh stiff neck.

Rosie if I had any money I would get your flight for you. Easy to say when I have no money but I know i would. You really deserve to go. Can’t you take some cash out of TKOE?! You raise loads of cash for other people, why not concentrate on raising some for yourself?

Why not start a ‘Help Rosie get to Australia ( with Emirates mind you ) fund. I would find a way to chip in a bit towards it. Im sure lots more would too. DO IT!!

I think if you have to get down about something then internal bleeding is a damn good place to start.

At least there is always toast, good old toast. God i love toast.

If you are in pain, surely the last thing you need is a pain specialist coming round yer house. At least you got until Friday.

Dont know if you noticed a tweet from @SarahMillican75, but she tweeted:
“I had an internal bleed the other day from Nurofen – make sure you take it after you’ve eaten.”

Yeah but Sarah I think what Roise is actually after is less internal bleeding if anything, thankyou very much.
God with friends like that who needs enemies ? !!

Hope your neck gets better, hope someone buys you a trip to Australia, and in the meantime theres always toast. Get another loaf in.

Haha nice idea but I can’t get people to give me money just so that I can go on holiday! I wouldn’t feel right about that! Maybe I’ll hold a bake sale..
The tweet was actually from me to Sarah Millican hah – just doing my bit to stop anymore bleeds! I’m definitely never taking Nurofen again. Let’s hope the lottery pays out for my holiday ey? XX

Fed up seems quite mild given the fortnight you’ve had, Rosie. Fingers crossed for the pain management, chronic pain is very wearing and isn’t going to help with general mood. But if you’re thinking about holidays that’s a good sign that the fedupness (is that a word?) is reducing and that you’re getting back to more positive things. As you always do…x

    Morning Rosie
I can’t help you with the flights but I may be able to help with accomodation. I have a contact through work who lives just outside of Brisbane and you can go there and help out in exchange for your board and lodgings. My friends daughter went there recently and her job was walking his dogs! As you can guess, she loved it! Take a look at his website and let me know what you think 🙂

Robin’s idea of a “me” fund sounds good!

Hi Rosie, a big adventure sounds good, but build up your strength first! Your neck pain sounds really hard to live with and can imagine that you tense up if you feel it coming on…hopefully the ‘pain’ man will have some suggestions. Can send you a rice bag if you think it’d help, have made some to sell on a stall.
    love mags.
