I know I know.

Be positive, right? But you’re allowed to have your down days because you need to be down to remember what it’s like to be up again.

I want my hair back 😦 You say it’s just hair..but it’s really not just hair.

hey Rosie, of course u are allowed to have your feeling down time, u wouldnt be human else. U are positive personified usually which is incredible, so dont worry about feelin sad sometimes.

Im worried about losing my hair too and im a bloke, so i bet its shit as a young woman. Luckily u still look cool hair or no hair!

You feel the way you feel. Sad, angry, frustrated, lonely, peaceful, fearful, empty….
Your logical brain is completely separate from this – you can’t tell yourself to feel differently. Losing your hair is making you sad.

You take the time to reach out and touch us with your feelings Rosie and all I can say in this weird cyberspace, is that we’re here with you, whatever your feelings – not saying ‘be positive’ but hoping the sadness is shortlived and hoping that something happens soon to make you feel good and happy and hopeful.

You’re right, it isn’t just hair and it isn’t fair that you’ve lost it yet again.
The only upsides are that you know from experience that it will grow back fairly soon, you look great with or without your wig (I still remember that fab photo of you in that great little black hat with veil), and you did at least have eyebrows for the summer as you wanted. Maybe the new goal is hair and eyebrows for Christmas?
Hope your tummy is feeling a bit better by now. x

Hair is a BIG thing for us all. If it’s cut badly we feel rubbish, we have ‘bad hair days, so losing it, like you are, must make you feel absolutely horrid, and down.
And you are normally positive but life is a rollercoaster, and we get lots of ups and downs, and I think you are a great role model and by being down, you are showing us all that things aint easy.
But you will bounce back, I’m sure. And your hair will grow back.
Have your down day(s) Rosie, it makes the good days better.
    Take care, love Mic
