I’ve been absent and I’m sorry :(

18 Nov

But have had a busy few days!

Saw Eddie Izzard yesterday! It was a thank you to Alex for offering her liver to me :). He was funny but I gotta say..not the funniest I’ve seen him :/. Was still worth seeing though..although I can’t remember any of the jokes or anything.. Err..? I like his joke about brown bread best though – I cant remember which dvd that’s on.

I think I’m going to get well into furniture reinvention – It’s on my CV and everything baha! I have a great idea for wooden chairs; you can get them for like £10 for 6 and I have an idea..But I’m not gonna tell you because you might steal my idea! Ahaha :). Still haven’t done anything more on my other chair yet because it’s been raining so I haven’t been able to spray it 😦 Will try to.

I went and handed my CV into GAP, Thorntons, Cadburys, Trespass and Hush Puppies today. Thats where the jobs are at the quays. I think Jenn (my Tesco boss) is worried about losing me because I told her I put her down as a reference and she started talking about all these extra shifts I could take at work.. I did tell her I wasn’t leaving.. Ooo she must like me if she’s getting worried! Nice!

I’m trying to save monies so that we can rent next year – I don’t know how likely it’s looking. I’m well up for it but I want to get a nice amount before hand so that I’m comfortable and not worried about getting in debt :). Sensible I reckon.

Does anyone have any old dominos they don’t want? Send them to me? I’ll pay :). It’s for TKOE (The Knock on Effect).

One of my chemo drugs is red apparently!

Peter and I went to see Eddie at Newcastle recently, liked his rant about dinosaurs not inventing things or writing poetry, agree that it wasn’t his best show.

I enjoyed it too! it was funny. The raptor wearing a little pork pie hat was a good one and the giraffes not screaming at each other where there is a Tiger (who shouldn’t be there anyway!

Thank you thank you for taking me 🙂

This auction place is near to Leominster, my sister says that it’s MEGA cheap if you fancy a trip out with your ma one day, not sure what day of the week the auction is on, you would have to give them a ring.

Try Eddie Izzard – Learning French on U-tube. We watched it during one of our teacher training lectures last year … I had not seen him do stand-up before …it was hilarious! (well, to a trainee teacher anyway!.

Glad you are keeping busy with your chair project.

I have loads of canvasses I keep meaning to do something with. Trouble is, it has been soooo long since I was ‘in the swing’ of painting, that it is going to take me a while to get back into it. AND, as a mum at home, there are plenty of jobs that I have to do first ….. need to get my priorities right I think! Deliberately set apart some ‘special’ time …..

    Love to all, Deb x

Eddie Izzard! I’m going to see him in Cardiff tomorrow. Why do we always see the same comedyacts two days apart?

Ooooh Eddie Izzard cooool! I have tickets to see him in London next month, and am going with my two sisters. So excited! Am hoping the gig you saw was just a warm-up and he will be back to his usual level of hilarity when I see him… haha!

Hope you get the Thornton’s job! Your house plans for next year sound cool! House-sharing is so much fun when you have a good bunch of friends together.

PS – No, my friends in Japan didn’t look like Lolita Goths in Harajuku! haha!! I do still keep in touch with my two best friends from Japan, and saw them both last year too… so much fun!
